Obituary of Rose M. Vacca

Rose M. Vacca,73, of Rome, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home with her loving family by her side. Born in Brooklyn on June 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Villani) Juliano. On July 19, 1975, she married Ronald R. Vacca. He passed away December 23, 2021. Rose worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 30 years before retiring. She loved to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee with her family and friends. She is survived by three children, Maria Vacca, Debra Wiatrek (Joe) and Ronald Vacca Jr.; five grandchildren, Matthew, Douglas, Justin, Brenden and Maraya; four great-grandchildren; special nephew, Alex Juliano, his fiancé Helen and daughter, Alexis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Angelo Juliano. Rose’s family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care for their wonderful care and compassion.
