Obituary of Teresa G Nilsen

Theresa G. Nilsen, 43, of Rome, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Rome on November 15, 1978, she was a daughter of Jonathon Nilsen and Bernice Pristera Merrill. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and Southern New Hampshire University. Theresa was a member of Redeemer Church. She loved horses and horseback riding. She is survived by two daughters, Paleigh and Mikayla Iannarilli; her mother, Bernice Merrill; a sister, Jessica Merrill; a brother, Jonathon Nilsen; two beloved dogs, Akasha and Gigi; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Jonathon Nilsen. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 15th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m.
