Obituary of Jim Puffer

James D. Puffer, 72, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare in Utica. Born in Rome on March 23, 1949, he was a son of the late Guilford and Eileen (Sullivan) Puffer. He was a 1967 graduate of Rome Catholic High School.
Jim was a salesman for many years. He loved spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed playing the horses.
Jim is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Frapolly (Paul); a son, Mark Puffer (Erin); two brothers, Richard (Sylvia) and Mark Puffer; ten grandchildren, Damiana, Benjamin, Tobias, Zipporah, Shelby, Brian, Jordyn, Logyn, Lucas ands Morgyn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Puffer.
Graveside services will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery later this year. There are no calling hours.
