Marilyn J. Ferguson, 77, of Camden, passed away on Sunday January 16, 2022 at Rome Health. She was born on Monday January 17, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of the late Othera and Lucille (Jones) Ferguson. Marilyn worked for Chem Tech in Oriskany, Rome Cable Corp. and a local bowling alley in Buffalo when she lived there in the 1970s. She was an avid bowler and traveled all over to bowl in tournaments. She was elected to the Rome Bowling Hall of Fame. Marilyn is survived by her companion of 47 years, William Dalton; three children, Michelle McLean, Nicole Ferguson and Shelby Ferguson (Lisa); four stepchildren, William E. Dalton (Sharon), Reva Dalton-Hall (Corey), William P. Dalton, Jr. and Patrice Davis (Eric); seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ernestine Bowes. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt., 13, Camden. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m. You may light a candle, send a message of sympathy, and read the obituary at www.nunnandharper.com. .
