She was born on August 7, 1928, in Forestport, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Veronica Larkin St. Denis. Eva attended Forestport High School. Eva retired as the manager of the Marcy Federal Credit Union. She was previously employed at Rome Manufacturing and Griffiss Air Force Base. Surviving are three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Viney) Halder, Geraldine "Gerry" St. Denis, both of Rome, H. Patricia and Richard Cranston, National City, MI; four sisters-in-law, Gilda St. Denis, Boulder, CO, Marilyn St. Denis, Gig Harbor, WA, and Las Vegas, NV, Anita St. Denis, North Highlands, CA, and Barbara St. Denis, Bloomington, IN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Eva was predeceased by one sister, Betty Visconte, and six brothers, Joseph, George, Homer Edward, Thomas, Eugene, and William. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, at 9:30 AM and a Mass of the Christian Burial at St. Paul's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
