Obituary of Victoria L. Blair

Victoria L. Blair, 65, of Altmar, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 11, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born in Constableville, NY, on May 12, 1956, a daughter of James and Betty (Young) Sturtevant. She was a graduate of Adirondack High School. Vicki worked for many years at Harden Furniture before retiring from Cathedral Corporation. Vicki loved to socialize, especially with her people at Buck's in Williamstown. She was always trying her luck with pull tabs and scratch offs. She is survived by her mother, Betty Sturtevant; her two daughters, Shae Solinsky and Shiona Markham (Mark Arbes); her significant other, Norman Platt; four brothers, James Sturtevant, Jr. (Eileen), Randy Sturtevant (Connie), Robert Sturtevant (Rebecca) and Joseph Sturtevant (Stacey); two sisters, Constance Matt and Sharlene Kenyon (Robert); six grandchildren, Kasee Solinsky, Trever Solinsky, Gavin Arbes, Darren Arbes, Ethan Arbes and Evan Arbes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Vicki was predeceased by her father, James Sturtevant. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m. In accordance to the current New York State mandate, you must wear a mask to attend services.
