Diana L. “Cookie” Russell, 69, of Rome, passed away at Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was born on August 12, 1952, in Rome, a daughter of Clarence and Everlyn (Allen) Russell, Sr.
Diana loved to knit sweaters and blankets for her family and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived two children, Terry Russell (Jade) and Tanya Larsen; a sister, Linda Lighthall (Ralph); five brothers, Clarence (Mr. C) Jr., Mike, Ricky, Roger and Joe Russell; ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Tiffany and Todd Russell; and nine brothers, Donald, William, Gary, Bobby, Terry, Butch, Timmy, David and Wilbur.
Family and friends are invited call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Friday, November 26th from 12-2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
