John F. Cavanaugh, 76, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Rome Health. He was born in Boston, MA, on February 17, 1945, a son of Robert and Alice (Smith) Cavanaugh.
He is survived by three sisters, Debra Cavanaugh, Roberta Millette (Tom) and Mary Burris; a brother, Robert Cavanaugh; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Alice and Barbara Cavanaugh and Eleanor Barrella; and two brothers, William and Paul Cavanaugh.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
