Harold E Babcock, 80, of Camden, passed away peacefully at the Abraham House of Rome on Friday November 5, 2021. Born in Camden on January 7, 1941, he was a son of the late Royce and Julia (Janes) Babcock. On May 6, 1961, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Coonrod. Harold worked at the Agway Feed Store in Camden for 28 years as a truck driver, where he delivered feed to various area farms. He then went on to work at G.W. Bryant Core Sand as a loader operator until his retirement in 2007. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Surviving besides his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen, are two children, Hal Babcock (Anna) and Theresa Winter (Don Hansberger); three grandchildren, Adam Babcock (Nicole Levensailer), Stacy Blair (Zac Grinnell) and Mindy Grant (Andy); ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Dolores Bice and Betty Perkins, and Shirley Manning; and a brother, Pete Babcock. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Interment will take place in Maple Flats Cemetery in Cleveland. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Harold's memory to the Abraham House of Rome, 417 N.
