Court St., Rome, New York, died Monday, November 5, 2007 in Syracuse Veterans Hospital after a long illness. He was born July 30, 1933 in Rome the son of Paul and Carol Vivian Meyers Yager. Mr. Yager was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and Mohawk Valley Community College. He was employed by Revere Printing for several years retiring in 1984 due to ill health. Mr. Yager served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an associate member of the Rome Wesleyan Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne and Richard Steele, Anchorage, Alaska; Carri Anne and Tim Parker, Rome; one son and daughter- in-law, Dale and Edna Yager, San Diego, California; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Lucille Yager, Jr., Rome; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Sue Yager who died in 1965. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Friday 1:30P.M. Interment Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Contributions may be made in Ross's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Central New York Chapter.
