Joanne J. (Jones) Pelton, 80, of Utica and formerly of Rome, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke’s in New Hartford. She was born in Fulton on October 26, 1940, a daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Brown) Jones.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Carpenter (Bruce), Patty Pelton Clintsman and Linda Tennant (Rich); a son, Rod Pelton (Dana); a brother, Joe Jones (Sue); five grandchildren, Matt, Melissa, Stefanie, Shannon and Timmy; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Gary and Eddie Jones.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 8th at 1:00 p.m. at Rome Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
