Lillian M. Town, 80, of Blossvale, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Born in Rome on April 17, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mary (Johnson) Jansen. She was a graduate of Camden High School and on November 29, 1958, she was united in marriage to Albert Town. He passed away in 2016.
Lillian was a member and former Sunday School Teacher at the Vienna United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Peck and Susanne Town; a son, Michael Town (Yun Hui); a sister, Barbara Lagasse (Ronald) ; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Armstrong; and three brothers, Paul Jansen, Arthur Jansen and Erwin Armstrong.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
