Obituary of Dwight Anthony Johnson

Dwight Anthony Johnson, 56, of Blossvale, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. He was born in Hampton, VA, on September 7, 1965 to Herman and Helen (Holland) Johnson, Sr. Dwight graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1983 and pursued an accounting degree at Bryant and Stratton. Dwight worked for the NYS Department of Corrections for 22+ years. He was looking forward to retiring and enjoying his adventures and relocating to South Carolina to be closer to his family. As everyone who knew him, knew he enjoyed living in the moment enjoying a challenging car or truck race, riding his prized motorcycles, snowmobiling, ATV and hunting. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and in later years he bowled like the champion he was. Dwight is survived by his parents, Helen R. Holland-Harris and Herman L. Johnson, Sr.; a sister, Stephanie A. Harris; a brother, Herman L. Johnson, Jr. (Emily Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Megan Johnson). Family and friends are invited to visit Nunn and Harper Funeral, Inc., 418 N.
