Helenanne Evanciew McCloskey of Rome, NY, peacefully passed on September 9, 2021, from complications of COVID-19 she contracted before vaccines were available. Her wishes were that everyone please get vaccinated.
Helenanne loved people and spread happiness wherever she went.
She was born on September 22, 1954, to the late Stella (Lewandrowski) and Peter Evanciew. She is predeceased by a brother Tim, husband Pat and her namesake and best friend “Choci”. Helenanne is survived by two brothers, Peter of Charleston, SC, and David (Debbie) of Cazenovia, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Helen
