Timothy H. Dangerfield, Sr., 73, of Remsen, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at MVHS St. Luke’s Healthcare. Born in Rome on December 31, 1947, he was a son of Marion and June (West) Dangerfield. On January 27, 1968, he was united in marriage to Ethel Petrie.
Tim worked at Serway Bros. in Rome for over 45 years. He was a member at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course and played in several leagues. He enjoyed camping with his family on Lake Delta and he was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.
Surviving besides his loving wife, Ethel, is a daughter, Tina Danielski (Gene Platt); a son, Timothy Dangerfield, Jr.; a sister, Sharon Leger (Henri); three cherished grandchildren, Danielle Ovieda (Anthony), Sarah Pedersen (Kevin) and Cody Danielski (Mia); five precious great-grandchildren, Logan, Liam, Julian, Cooper Timothy and Lilah; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and his canine companion, Molly Mae. He was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Patrick Dangerfield; and a beloved dog, Snowball.
Tim’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s for their wonderful care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at 1:30 p.m. at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course, 8600 Country Club Drive, Rome NY 13440.
