Obituary of Robert D. Metott

Robert D. “Bobby” Metott, 50, of Florence, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Rome on December 8, 1970, a son of Robert H. and Linda (Forbes) Metott. Bobby was an avid woodworker and logger. He enjoyed fishing the Redfield Reservoir for walleye and spending time with his family. If you knew him, you knew he had the biggest heart. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Linda; two sons, Travis Metott and Cody Metott (Sabrina); three daughters, Meagan Metott (Michael), Emily Metott and Emmilee Finch; a sister and favorite brother-in-law, Kimberly and Ken Schultz; a brother, Daniel Metott (Dawn); two grandchildren, Brentley Adam and Lincoln Metott; special nieces and nephews, Zachary and Andrew Schultz, Dalton, Asher, Dedria and Aireal Metott; a great-nephew, Ryver Knapp; his dog, Jake, who was his best buddy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 30th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden.
