Carl M. Tardugno, Sr., 64, of Cicero, NY, and formerly of Rome, NY, passed away at home on Saturday, August 14, 2021. He was born in Rome on January 30, 1957, the son of the late Carl C. and Delores (Mosca) Tardugno. He was a 1975 graduate of Rome Free Academy, earned an Associate’s Degree from SUNY-Canton and a Bachelor’s Degree and MBA from SUNY-Institute of Technology. Carl was a franchise owner of an Executive Recruiting firm specializing in intellectual property law for many years before starting his own business in 2005, Pinnacle Consulting Group. He loved the outdoors, taking his dog for a walk, going for car rides and playing golf, but what he enjoyed most was being around his three children. Carl is survived by two daughters, Mia Tardugno (Damian) and Carli Tardugno (Shaun); a son, Carl Tardugno, Jr. (Cristiana); his twin sister, Carla Corley (Wayne); his lifetime partner, Christina Granato; two cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Giavanna; the mother of his children, Carol Tardugno; two nephews, Mike Corley (Joy) and Joseph Corley (Carrie); a great-niece and great-nephew, Joey and Riley; his extended family; and his beloved dog, Dino. Carl’s family would like to thank the Upstate Hospital Oncology Team for their wonderful care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick St., Rome NY 13440. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440.
