Obituary of Lois T. Willson

Lois T. Willson, 91, of Taberg, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at Bethany Gardens in Rome. She was born in Potsdam, NY, on October 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Dean and Flora (Bogart) Tucker. She was a 1949 graduate of Camden High School and 1969 graduate of the Utica State Hospital School of Nursing. On December 10, 1949, she was united in marriage to Ernest Willson. He passed away January 13, 1994. Lois was a Registered Nurse at the Rome Developmental Center for many years, retiring in 1984. She later worked at Bethany Gardens. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Vienna and the Taberg Friendship Club. She enjoyed camping, boating and picnicking with her beloved family. Lois is survived by four daughters, Connie Willson, Lynda Collins (Dennis), Joanie Lewis and Judy Crossway (Daniel); two sons, Dale Willson (Debbie) and Tim Willson (Amanda); a sister-in-law, June Tucker; seventeen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Keith Tucker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday, June 4th from 4-7:00 p.m.
