Obituary of Wanda J. Gomez

Wanda J. Gomez, 68, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the Abraham House of Rome. She was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, on April 13, 1953, a daughter of the late Felix and Laura (Gorritz) Pagan. Wanda was a member of the Maranatha Church in Rome. She is survived by four daughters, Damaris Pacheco, Mercy Cruz, Magaly Alvarez (Hector) and Walitza Stepney (Donnell); three sisters, Maria Pagan, Flora Suerez and Anna Rodriguez; thirteen grandchildren, Damien, David, Jose, Steven, Israel, Mia, Kimberly, Ashley, Steven Jr., Rosa, Chudisa, Darian and Donnell Jr.; and eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
