Obituary: Judith C. (Judy) Noone, 72, of 326 W. Embargo Street, Rome, New York, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008, in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare after a long illness.
She was born February 29, 1936, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of John and Frances Weber McFadden. Judy graduated from St. Mary's High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
On October 16, 1956, she married Robert S. Noone, Jr., in Cheyenne.
Mrs. Noone was employed by Rome Memorial Hospital for several years, retiring in 1999.
Judy was a member of St. Mary's Church, member and past president of the Rome Art Association, and was active in the Rome Community Theatre for several years. She was also a member of the Rome Twigs.
Surviving besides her husband are their daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and David Iman, Rochester, NY; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Jeffrey, Dunn Loring, VA, Steven and Renate, Glenmoore, PA, Raymond and Laurie, Fairport, NY, Roger and Mary Ivy, Warrenton, PA; Morgan and Lori, Rome, NY, her four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Kay Meyer, San Bruno, CA, Margie Trefren, Franny and Gene Wilson and Cynthia, and Harold Petersen, all of Cheyenne, WY; and seven grandchildren, Carrie, Stephanie, Hannah, Nicole, Matt, Rachel and Ryan.
Graveside services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at 9:30A.M. Friends may call at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Monday 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Contributions may be made in Judy's memory to the American Heart Association.
