Emily J. Gembalski, 64, of Taberg, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Leechburg, PA, on November 13, 1956, Emily was a daughter of the late John and Geane (Knepshield) Ruman. On January 1, 2000, she was united in marriage to Richard Gembalski. Emily worked for many years as the bakery manager at IGA in Galeton, PA. While living locally, Emily became an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Camden. She helped in the kitchen and was always baking something for the many events hosted by the church. She was known for her super “green thumb” and she was a member of the Camden Garden Club. Her garden was her passion. She also loved her cats and dogs. Surviving besides her loving husband, Richard, is her son, Jason Youndt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 12-2:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home at one time, everyone must wear a face covering upon entering and proper social distancing protocols must be adhered to once inside.
