Obituary of Alan G. Keller

Alan G. Keller, 61, of Rome and formerly of Sauquoit, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He was born in Rome on September 29, 1959, a son of the late Raymond and Annabelle (Burns) Keller. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. Alan was popular in school and played on the football team and bowling team for the Black Knights and excelled for both.
Alan worked at Orchard Hall in Sauquoit for many years where he managed the bowling alley. He was very personable, enjoyed life and made many friends in his time working there. He loved to bowl and listen to Rock and Roll.
He is survived by a sister, Susan Hluska, (Tom); two brothers, Raymond Keller, Jr., (Diane) and Robert Keller; and several nieces and nephews, including two special nephews, Justin and Mychal; and many friends.
Alan’s family would like to thank the Drs., nurses and staff at Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Rome for their wonderful care and compassion during his time there.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
