Obituary of Patricia A. Cianfrocco

Patricia A. “Chubby” Cianfrocco, 77, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Malden, MA, a daughter of the late Augustino and Philomeno (Orlando) Puopolo. On March 12, 1966 she was united in marriage to Peter Cianfrocco, a blessed union of 54 years. Chubby was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved being the family “taxi driver”, carting her grandkids all over the place, wherever they needed to be. She was a sweet, kind and loving person and she loved a good party. Surviving besides her loving husband, Pete, are two daughters, Patrice Cianfrocco (Bernie Lubeck) and Dianna Cianfrocco and her friend, Bob Palinski; a son, Peter Cianfrocco (Wendy); a brother, Ralph Puopolo (Roberta); eight cherished grandchildren, Anthony Coccia (Danielle Fields), Marie Augliano (Nate), Deana Coccia (Angelo Pacheco), Vincent Coccia (Gabriella), Jospeh A. Izzo, III, Laura A. Izzo, Peter Cianfrocco and Samantha Cianfrocco (Chris); two precious great-grandchildren, Gianna Augliano and Harper Noga; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Chubby’s life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. A spring interment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery.
