Obituary of Dustin P. Livingston

Dustin P. Livingston, 40, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Rome on August 1, 1980, and raised by “Pop” and “Mom”, Harry and Joan Livingston. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and earned a Bachler’s of Science degree from SUNY-Polytechnic Institute. Dustin was a graphics designer for Maximus of Reston, VA, and was very passionate about his work. Besides his love of art, he was an avid mountain biker and snowboarder, and enjoyed music, photography and golf. He loved being around his family and had great friends. His cats will miss him. Dustin is survived by his “Pop”, Harry Livingston (Linda Russell); four aunts, Debbie Baer (Walt Tyldesley) and her children Nicole Cataldo and Natalie (Steve) Lusher, Diana Livingston, Janet Livingston (George Evans) and Karen (Ron) Martel and her son, Devin Feldmeyer; and several cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his “Mom”, Joan Livingston. Dustin’s family would like to thank the Upstate Medical Center Spiritual Care Ministry and Radiation in Oneida, Hospice and Palliative Care and his “Pop” and aunts, cousins and friends, for their wonderful care and compassion. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6th, at 3:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc. 418 N. George St., Rome. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 1-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Dustin’s memory to Hospice and Palliative Care or the Humane Society of Rome. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home at one time, everyone must wear a face covering upon entering and proper social distancing protocols must be adhered to once inside
