Pratt, 69, of Blossvale, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 15, 1938, in Chittenango, the son of Les and Emma Pratt. Ernest attended Madison schools. On August 10, 1957, he was united in marriage to Betty Croniser in Rome. He was previously employeed by Rome Development Center. Surviving besides his loving wife, Betty; is a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Kenneth Durgan, Rome; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ricky Pratt, Blossvale, and Bruce and Candy Pratt, West Dale; two sisters, Inez Zawaly, PA, and Sylvia Smith, Frankfort; two brothers, Ronald Pratt, PA, Clarence Pratt, Canastota; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Ernest was predeceased by two sons, Joseph Pratt and David Pratt; a sister, Amy Pratt; and six brothers, George, Les, Bill, Donald, Eddie, and Herald. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 St. Rt. 13, Camden, on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in McConnellsville Cemetery.
