Obituary:Michael C. Sharlow, 64, of Rome, New York, died Monday February 25, 2008 at his residence.
He was born January 9, 1944 in Watertown the son of Charles and Adel Tolan Sharlow.
Michael was a graduate of Watertown High School and SUNY at Canton.
On January 2, 1966, he married Rosemary Morrow in Rome. She died July 7, 2004.
He was a Dealer at Turning Stone Resort and Casino and previously owned
M&R Detailing for several years.
Michael was a member of Sociable Singles and enjoyed playing volleyball, playing pool and created 5-card stud billiards, which combined poker and pool and was active in the Rome Girls Softball League for over thirty years.
Surviving are his fiance', Michelle Paladino, Mohawk; one daughter and son-
in-law, Megan and Tony Schilling, Georgia; two sons, Roarke Sharlow and his partner, Gary Eckhart, Warren, Vermont; Ryan Sharlow and his fiancé, Tracey Hamilton, Oneida; one sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Peter Soules, Virginia Beach, Virginia; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Alfred and Toni Sharlow, Englewood, Florida; Tom Sharlow, Albany; Charles and Chris Sharlow, John and Julie Sharlow and James and Tammy Sharlow, all of Chaumont; two granddaughters, Ashley and Syrena and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and William.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
