Charles H. Gruby, 60, of Rome and formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020. Born in Rome on November 21, 1959, he was a son of the late Howard and Marjorie (Lipphardt) Gruby.
Charles was always looking to lend a helping hand to local seniors and was quick to crack a joke. He loved to make you smile.
He is survived by a sister, Cheryl (Richard) Zawaly and their children.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
