"Carm" Cupak, of Nashua, NH, and formerly of Rome and New Port Richey, FL, died at Greenbriar Terrace in Nashua, NH, on Wednesday, January 31, 2008, following a long illness. She was born in Rome, New York, the daughter of Nicholaus and Mary Lombard Zoccolillo. She attended Saint Aloysius Academy. On July 12, 1937, she married John J. Cupak, Sr., in St. Peter's Church in Rome. He died on August 3, 2003. Carm was employed by Rome City Schools for several years, retiring in 1976. She was previously employed by Rome Memorial Hospital and Candy Land restaurant. She was a member of St. Paul's Church while she was in Rome. Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, John and Sherry Cupak Jr., Nashua, NH; a sister, Genevieve Carollo, Rome; and two grandsons, Gary and Kevin Cupak. Carm was predeceased by a special niece, Patricia Zimmer, whom she raised, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2008, at 9:30 AM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, and a Mass of the Christian Burial at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Robert Kelly officiating. Interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
