She was born on September 5, 1914, in Newport, NY, the daughter of Howard and Ellen Courtney Molineux. She graduated from Newport High School. On October 5, 1936, she married John (Jack) Stannard in Newport, NY. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and St. Peter's Senior Club. Surviving are her two daughters and two sons-in-law, Bette and Marvin Gertsch, Springfield, OR, and Donna and Terry Camp, Schenectady; four sons and four daughters-in-law, John and Mary Stannard, Jr., Papillion, NE, William (Bill) and Shirley Stannard, Rome, Joseph and Linda Stannard, Rochester, and Paul and Beth Stannard, Newport, OR; one sister, Helen Hummel, Camden; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her two sisters Eva Sklar, and Mary Bush; and two brothers, Edward Molineux and John Molineux. Alice's family would like to thank the entire staff at Bethany Gardens, especially the third floor staff, for their wonderful love and care during her stay there. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at St. Peter's Church at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made in Alice's memory to St. Peter's Church Memorial Fund or Bethany Gardens Activities Department, 800 W. Chestnut St., Rome. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
