"Sandy" Tarbania Martino, 49, of Camden, died Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born July 29, 1957, in Rome, the daughter of John and Beverly Quackenbush Tarbania, Sr. She attended Rome Schools. On August 13, 1994, she married James Martino at St. John the Baptist Church in Rome. Sandy was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband, her mother, of Rome, is one daughter, Heather Yourdon and Clayton Foster, Camden; one sister and brother-in-law, Helen (Ron) Jackson, Rome; two brothers, Paul Tarbania, of Utica, and John Tarbania, Jr., Rome; and several nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, at 9:45 AM and 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Contributions may be made in Sandy's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
