Name: Thomas Zdziebko Date of Death: Thursday, December 13, 2007 Residence: Rome, NY Age: 61 Obituary:Thomas J. Zdziebko, 61, of 126 Turin St., Rome, died on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at his home. He was born on October 5, 1946, in Rome, the son of Stanley and Matilda Lewandrowski Zdziebko. He was a Rome Free Academy graduate, Class of 1964. On June 17, 1967, he married Lori Toepp at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church in Rome. He was employed as a supervisor for U.P.S. Thomas proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1966 to 1969 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, the American Legion Whitestown and the 40 & 8. Surviving besides his loving wife, Lori, and his mother, Matilda; are three daughters, Debbie Zdziebko, SC, Cindy LaPoint, Rome, and Jennifer Zdziebko, MT; a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Bernadette Zdziebko, Rome; a granddaughter, Alicia; and three nephews, Matthew Zdziebko, Andrew Zdziebko, and Martin Oleniuch. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at 8:00 AM and a Mass of the Christian Burial at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church at 8:30 AM. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Contributions may be made in Zipper's memory to the Nurses Training Fund at the 40 & 8.
