Ernest, 67, of Tamarack St., Rome, died Monday March 28, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Watertown. She was born December 12, 1937, in Mertert, Luxembourg, the daughter of John and Louise Otter Feil. She was a high school graduate in Mertert. On November 15, 1956, she married Nicholas Ernest in Wasserbillig, Luxembourg. He died April 24, 1998. Elisabeth worked at Rome Cable Corporation for several years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Mrs. Ernest is survived by a daughter, Karen Ernest, Watertown, with whom she was living; a son, Eric Ernest, Lee Center; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maria and Marcel Brittner, Wasserbillig, and Suzette and Hein Beidler, Mertert; two grandchildren, Nicholas Kennedy and Catherine Mann; and a great granddaughter, LeAnn. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marian Mann. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9am at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., and St. John the Baptist Church at 9:30am. Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist Church. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8pm.
