Obituary of Thomas E. Shepherd, II

Thomas E. Shepherd, II, 25, of Rome, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. He was born in Rome on July 15, 1992, the son of Thomas Shepherd Sr. and Linda Kotary Shepherd. He was a 2010 graduate of Rome Free Academy.

Tom was employed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Rome.

He loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing, hunting, trapping, kayaking, camping, and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas Shepherd, Sr. and his significant other, Vera Morrison, of Rome and Linda Shepherd of Rome; one brother, Jeremie Basham; his best friend, Jessica Edwards; stepsisters, Vicki and Jasmine; stepbrothers, Steven and Timmy; paternal grandmother, Mary Jo Shepherd; his niece, Loveliyana; and many aunts, uncles, and special friends. He was predeceased by a stepsister, Stephanie Morrison.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7:00PM at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Family and friends are invited to call prior to the service on Wednesday from 5-7:00PM.
