(Al) Burdick, 71, of 7086 Humaston Road, New London, died Friday July 27, 2007 in University Hospital, Syracuse as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 12, 1936 in Copenhagen, New York the son of Herbert and Lillian Burdick. Mr. Burdick was educated in Watertown. On March 15, 1961 he married Marjorie Williamson in Rome. She died March 1, 1996. Al was employed at McIntosh Box and Pellets , Rome and was previously employed at B&R Trucking, Frankfort. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Gary Millson, New London, four grandchildren, Karen Millson, Gary Wayne Millson and Janelle Valincourt, April Millson and Rob Taylor, Al Millson and Mindy Tennant, six great- grandchildren, Bailey, Aden, Brook, Brianna, David, Robert and many special friends. Al was an avid biker. He loved rode and cared for his bikes for thirty years. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Wednesday 10:00A.M. Interment Rathbunville Cemetery, Town of Verona. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
