Lane, 56, of 99 Deerfield Rd., Syracuse, formerly of Vienna, died on July 6, 2007, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, following a brief illness. She was born on May 2, 1951, in Rome, the daughter of Barbara and Clyde Howe. She attended Camden schools. In 1969, she married Durwood Lane, Jr., in Vienna. He died in 1993. Surviving besides her mother, Barbara Howe, Vienna; are one daughter, Amy Culjak and her fiancé Hollis Brower, Lee Center; one son, Eric Lane, Blossvale; four sisters ad three brothers-in-law, Loni and Andy Illingsworth, Camden, Lori and Tom Yager, Parish, Brenda and Ezzie Fransisco, Rome, and Tracey Howe, Vienna; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bobby and Kathy Howe, Rome, Bryant and Allana Howe, Vienna, Wilfred Howe, Vienna, and David Howe, Vienna; six very special grandchildren, Angelo, Nicholas, Ashley, Brandon, Jonathan, and Holly; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Route 13, Camden, at TBA. Interment McConnellsville Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call on Monday at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
