She was born November 26, 1945, in Rome, the daughter of John and Alice Greene Cerjan. She attended St. Aloysius Academy. Sandy worked at Ames Department Store in Rome for several years, and later worked at Kmart. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Christine Bortiatynski, Rome, and Sherry and Michael Wooten, Haslet, TX; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas Duell, Stockbridge, GA, and Mark and Shelly Duell, Westmoreland; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Richard Mumpton and Kathleen and John Herbst, all of Rome; a brother, Richard Cerjan, Highland Falls, NY; a sister-in-law, Pat Cerjan, Rome, with whom she resided; nine grandchildren, Amber, Steven, Jason, Ashley, Tyler, Gabrielle, Justin, Matthew, and Nicholas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sandy was predeceased by a brother, John (Jack) Cerjan. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10am at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7pm. Services: Funeral Monday at 10am at the funeral home Calling hours Sunday 4-7pm
