Lombardi, 89, of 634 St. Rte. 69, Camden, passed away on July 6, 2005, at Rome Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born January 1, 1916 in Bergen County, N.J., the son of Samuel and Genevieve Luciano Lombardi. Sal was educated in North Bergen Schools and on October 8, 1955 he was united in marriage to Bertha Walker in North Bergen, N.J. Sal has resided in the Camden Area for the past 20 years and was last employed at Federal Paper Board Co. in Piermont, NY for over 38 years retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Orangetown Fire Co., No. 1, in Nyack, NY for over 25 years and the I.O.O.B. Club of Camden Surviving besides his wife, Bertha, are a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bill Conklin, Valley Cottage, NY, a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Connie Lombardi, Camden, along with two grandchildren, Michael and William Conklin, III. He was predeceased by a brother,Armand and a sister, Florence. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 St. Rte. 13, Camden, on Saturday at 10:30 am. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Contributions in Sal's memory may be made to the Camden Vol. Fire Dept. Services: 10:30 am from the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 St. Rte. 13, Camden
