Calciano, 92, formerly of Camden and Heritage Healthcare, Utica, passed away September 17, 2006 in Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare, New Hartford after a brief illness. She was born April 2, 1914 in Brainard, MN, the daughter of Charles and Rozina Joy Johnson. She was educated in Minnesota and on October 29, 1932 she was united in marriage to Chester Young in Minnesota. He passed away in 1972. She then was married to Louis Calciano and he died in 1985. Minnie was last employed as a nurse in Marcy Psychiatric Center. She was a member of the Camden Senior Citizens and was of the Protestant Faith. Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Josephine Mellage, Kingston, AZ, Donna Vandorn, Wenatchee, WA , Claudia and David Montana, Camden, Jackie & Roger Folger, Naples, Idaho, a brother and sister-in-law, Larry & Betty Mack, CO, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday from the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 St. Rte. 13, Camden at 7pm. Burial will take place in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7pm.
