Brower, 79 of Liberty Plaza, Rome, New York, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 in Rome Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born April 15, 1926 in Rome the daughter of George and Lena Day Hewitt. Mrs. Brower was educated in Rome. On August 29, 1943 she married William Brower in Rome. He died in 1977. Surviving are six daughters and five sons-in-law, Scharlena and Eugene Fernold, Bakersfield, California; Veronica and Rudolph Morczek, Lee Center; Deborah Taylor, all of Lee Center; Doris and Brad Rocker, Florence; Cynthia and Steve Cullings, Lee Center; Hertha and Tony DePasquale, Boonville; four sons and two daughters-in-law, William and Crystal Brower, Jr., Lee Center; George and Deanna Brower, Brunswick, Georgia; Robert Brower, Swancott Mills; Hollis Brower, Ava;a twin sister, Virginia Brower, Boonville; one brother, Lyle Hewitt, Rome; fifty grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy and four grandsons, Russell Sochia, Jr., Chad Brower, Christen Brejack and Joseph Brejack, four sisters, Doris, Sara, Georgianna and Florence and three brothers, Sonny, Hollis and Charles. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Saturday 11:00A.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Services: Calling hours Fri. 4-7pm Funeral Sat. 11am at funeral home
