Phillips, 83, of 9417 Rte. 13, Camden, passed away June 6, 2006 at Oneida Healthcare Center after a brief illness. He was born August 8, 1922 in Montrose, PA the son of Frederick and Bernice Hinckley Phillips. George was educated in Tunkhannock, PA Schools and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II as a First Class Gunner. On October 26, 1943 he was united in marriage to Helen Wiezavich in Tunkhannock, PA. She passed away June 29, 1997. George moved to Camden in 1972 and was the owner of the Phillips Farm in Camden. He was also an avid hunter and loved being outdoors. Surviving are one daughter Anne Phillips, two sons Andy Phillips, Alex Phillips, all of Camden, two special nephews, Thomas & Edward Wiezavich, Camden, two nieces Susan Barzilowski, Tunkhannock, PA and Rosemarie Baret, Ocean, NJ. He was predeceased by a sister, Edna Felton. Funeral services will be held in Tunkhannock, PA. Burial will take place in Sunny Side Cemetery in Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 Rte. 13, Camden on Friday from 1-3pm & 7-9 pm. Contributions may be made to the Camden Ambulance. Services: Funeral services will be held in Tunkhannock, PA on Monday Burial will take place in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock, PA Calling hours will be Friday from 1-3pm & 7-9 pm at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Homoe, Inc., 9464 Rte. 13, Camden
