She was born October 14, 1918, in Etna, PA, the daughter of Charles and Pauline Sekock Hubal. She was educated in Rome schools. On July 8, 1940, she married Ellsworth Armstrong in Rome. He died December 15, 1971. Anne worked at Varflex Corporation for 50 years, retiring in 2005. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Ralph Maio of Denver, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Bonnie Armstrong of Taberg; a sister, Stella Beer of Rome; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Puchyr; three bothers, Charles, Peter, and John Hubal; and a great-granddaughter, Angelina Rose Maio. Services: Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery in Taberg.
