Name: Rosina Bailey Date of Death: Sunday, October 12, 2008 Residence: Rome, NY Age: 88 Obituary:Rosina Bailey, 88, of Rome and formerly of Brooklyn, died October 12, 2008 after a brief illness. She was born September 4, 1920 in Brooklyn the daughter of John and Marie Prilou Seldon. She was educated in Brooklyn schools. On October 31, 1942, she married Eustace Bailey in Brooklyn. He passed away in February of 1999. Rosina worked several years for the US Postal Service. She was a member of the Bridge St. AME in Brooklyn and the Georgetown Social Club in Brooklyn. While living in Rome, Rosina was active with Ava Dorffman, Golden Years and Newcomers Club. She was also an avid bowler. Rosina is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Raphael Febres, Deland, FL; two sons, Earl Bailey, Queens, NY, and Eustace Bailey, Rockaway, NY; eleven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Rennick (Tucker) and a brother, Proster Prilou. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home Inc, in Brooklyn, NY, on Monday, October 27, 2008, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Rockland County Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lawrence H.
