(Tom) Fields, Jr., 65, of Camden, died September 10, 2008 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born December 31, 1942, in Rome,the son of Thomas and Mary Madonia Fields, Sr. He was educated in Rome schools. On November 18, 1961, he married Henrietta (Judy) Schmitt in St. Mary's Church in Rome. Tom drove truck for several area companies before retiring in 1979 due to ill health. He was formerly a member of the New London Volunteer Fire Department. Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was also a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. Surviving besides his wife Judy, are five children including a special daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Richard Seaton, of Westernville, and a special son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Cylie Fields, New London, thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony (Butch) and Donald Fields, and twin granddaughters, Stephanie and Heather Fields. Services: A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00A.M. at St. Paul's Church in Rome. Interment will take place in New Union Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
