Dukett, 42, of Calvert St., Rome, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 30, 2008, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica. He was born on August 25, 1966, in Rome, the son of Harold and Joan Lipphardt Dukett, Sr. Mark was a graduate of Rome Free Academy, Class of 1984. Mark proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing football and softball and was an avid dart player. Surviving besides his mother, Joan, of Rome; are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Brenda Dukett and her fiancé, William Robinson, of Rome, and Sandra and Timothy Russell, of Taberg; a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Mary Dukett, Jr., of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 St. Rt. 13, Camden, on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 10:00 AM where the Rev. Arthur Miner will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
