Ford, 94, of the VA Nursing Home, Oxford, New York, formerly of Rome, died Sunday, May 29, 2005 at her residence. She was born August 8, 1910 in Forestport, New York the daughter of Thomas J. and Laura A. Leonard Donnolly. She was educated in Utica schools. On June 6, 1928 she married Edwin Ford, Sr. in Utica. He died May 2, 1980. While in Rome Mrs. Ford was a member of St. Peter's Church. Surviving are seven children, Edwin and Janet Ford, Jr., Hawthorne, California; Caroline VanCourt, Florida; Thomas Ford, Rome; Suzanne and Owen Hahn, Pittsburgh; Bernadette Ford, Rome; John and Carol Ford, South Berlin, New York; Sarah Becraft, Rome; twenty-nine, Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three daughters, Lorraine Anderson, Mary Wood, Alma Christman and one son, Dwight Ford. Funeral will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Thursday 8:45A.M. and St. Peter's Church 9:30A.M. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4:00P.M. to 6:00P.M.
