Tammy, I am so very sorry that we couldn''t make it for the funeral, but know that our hearts were there. From what I hear, there were a great many people that celebrated Jason''s life with you. How wonderful that must have made you feel! How proud to know that Jay touched so many lives. You have been an outstanding Mother, Tammy, and you make all of us proud. I would like to share a little saying that was sent to me many years ago when we lost our first twins. It comforted me then and I hope it will give you some comfort too. "As we would pick the finest flowers in a flower garden, so also, God picks his finest flowers". Love, Aunt Pat and Uncle Jack

Dear Tammy and Family, We are so sorry for the loss of your son, Jason. Our son, Matthew, and Jason were classmates, and we lost Matt also to cancer in August of 2006. You will probably hear from a lot of people who will tell you that they cannot imagine your pain, or what you are going through. We can and our hearts ache for you and your family. We will never get an answer to our never-ending question of why his life was cut so short, but we know, as we hope you do also, that Matt and Jason are in a much better place now. Their battle is over and so is their suffering. We did not know Jason personally, but Matt spoke of him often. Now they are together again and their friendship lives on - only in a much different context. There are no words to comfort you at this worst time of your life - although so many search so hard - they don''t exist. We can only promise you your pain will ease with time, but never completely. Our children are so precious to us and they will always be with us - just not as we planned. Let the people who love you and care for you support you in every way. You do not have to go through this alone. Our deepest sympathy to and your family. Richard and Janet Dixon

Tammy I didn''t ever get to know you but knowing your son, helped me to know you. What a wonderful job you did raising a strong, sincere, and loving son. He gave us so much spirit and strength (what a man) I know you are very proud and so are we on this side of the family. His legacy will forever be a strength he left for us. He passed while I was at a Harmony and Peace Seminar here in Hawaii which led me to take flowers out to sea to send my love to Jason. We believe in Lit Floating Lanterns that send love to our departed into the sea and beyond. My daughter Traci and Jason''s sisters Ally and Rian thought the world of you, grand-dad,nana and all his family and always will be family. God Bless you and all of Jason''s family.

Dear Phil & Irene - I only knew Jason through Phil, but instantly knew that he was very much loved. You had an extra sadness to your eyes that last day, Phil, when you came to my office. I can only feel your loss by comparing it to losses I have gone through, and can imagine the deep sorrow you must be going through now. Please consider me your lifelong friend and will wait for you to come in my office again with great memories of Jason, along with knowing he is at peace. Love, Donna Piekarski

One of the greatest joys of my life has been watching young, talented musicians grow from little wide eyed hopefuls to seasoned, accomplished stage performers. Jason was most certainly destined to share this gift. He was able to accomplish so much in this life and in spite of all obstacles did it with courage, dignity, and an unforgettable positive outlook. He will be missed but his presence will forever be felt here. Most Sincerely, Gary

Tammy and family, I am so very sorry to hear about Jason. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time. I''m sharing with you all a poem below that was shared with us when we lost Terry. I hope it helps you as it has helped us. Bonnie All Is Well Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next door room, I am I and you are you... Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the usual way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrows. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect, without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was, there is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind, because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for in the interval. Somewhere very near just around the corner... All Is Well...

To Jay''s Family: I send my deepest sympathy in this sad time. I went to high school with Jay...Jay was a person with such zeal for living life--and I know that everyone will remember him as such. I know he will be missed here on earth as much as he was missed in Heaven by the Father and that is why he had to go home to be with Him. All the best...

I didn''t know Jay too well, I hadn''t seen or heard from him in quite a few years, but some of the people who were closest to him are people who are extremely important to me. I''m sorry for your loss. Tom & Joe: This has to be the hardest thing you guys have faced yet in your short lives. I know how much you two looked up to and admired Jay, don''t forget he''ll always be looking down on you guys. I wish I could tell you that it''s going to be okay, but I can''t. It''s gonna hurt like hell for awhile, and thats totally normal. You have so many people here for you, if you need someone, don''t hesitate. Uncle Bob, Erin & Tammy: Words can''t possibly express what you''re going through. All I can say is that he''s in a better place, and the pain and suffering is over now. xoxo - ¦Christine
