He was born March 8, 1946, in Rome, the son of Henry and Shirley Wilcox Houle. Roger was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. On October 1, 1966, he married Donna Porter in Rome. Roger was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Leah and William Richards, Blossvale; Diane and Daniel Russell, Calcium, New York; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Jacquelyn Houle, Jr., Lee Center; Michael and Tina Houle, Ft. Dix, New Jersey; and eleven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Skyler, Kayla, Abagail, Jonathan, Justin, Zachary, Jason, Samuel, Seth, and Allison. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street. Rome on Monday, May 19, 2008, at TBA and a Mass of the Christian Burial at TBA at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
