Name: Ethelyn A. Proper Date of Death: Friday, December 02, 2005 Residence: Taberg NY Age: 75 Obituary:Ethelyn A. Proper, 75, formerly of Taberg, New York, died Friday, December 2, 2005 in Stonehedge Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born July 1, 1930 in Rome the daughter of Charles and Flora Jewel Russell. Mrs. Proper was educated in Rome. On August 21, 1948 she married Russell Proper in the First United Methodist Church, Rome. Ethelyn was employed at the Super Duper, Camden and later worked at Foley's Drive-In Restaurant. She was a member of the Taberg United Methodist Church, Lee Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Rome Moose Lodge, Past President of the Taberg Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and in addition was a member of the Annsville Senior Citizen's Friendship Club. Surviving besides her husband are one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Clarence (Bo) Boulerice, Taberg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Russ and Karen Proper, Taberg; Ron and Nancy Proper, Wilmington, North Carolina; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Dora Snow, Arcadia, Florida; six grandchildren, Katrina, Tasha, Lindsay, Jenny, Jeff, Matt, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Florence Pfeiffer, Leona Coonrod and three brothers, Ken, Ira and Howard Russell. Funeral will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Monday 11:30A.M. Interment McConnellsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 1:00P.M. to 4:00P.M.
