James Street, Rome, New York, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born June 15, 1933 in Rome the son of Richard F. and Zenia Hawkins Wishart, Sr. Dick was educated in Camden. He was employed at Rome Strip Steel for twenty-eight years retiring in 1995. Mr. Wishart was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. He as a member of the Henry P. Smith of the American Legion and was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Dick was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. Surviving are his mother of Rome; two sisters, Laverne Tennant, Missouri, Judy Rudolph, Town of Lee; one brother and sister-in-law, George J. and Rose Wishart, Blossvale; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Erica, Milton, Dustin, Brandon, Lindsey, two step-daughters, Wendy and Alan Waterman, Blossvale; Mary Anne Skinner, Canastota; one step-son, Milton Skinner, Pulaski; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Helen Waterman. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Monday 130P.M. Interment Rathbunville Cemetery, Town of Verona. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Services: Calling hours 4-7pm Sunday Funeral 1:30pm Monday at the Funeral Home
