Kelly loved golf, snowmobiling, and his vast movie collection. He had a special bond with his companions, Buddy, Maya, Kane, Snowball and Patches. He is survived by his fiancé and love of his life, Amanda Coughlin, Rome; precious daughter, Samantha Smith, Cape Vincent; mother and step-father, Patricia and David Teuscher, Verona; father, Michael Smith, Rome; his brother, Chad Smith, Verona; his brother and best friend, Jeff Smith, Verona, who was always there for him; his beloved and supportive maternal grandmother, Mary Reff, Rome; paternal grandmother, Katherine McGregor, Rome; special uncle Gregory Reff, Westernville; special aunt, Donna Scarnati, Connecticut; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his loving paternal grandfather, Howard Reff. Calling hours will take place at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Thursday from 4-7pm.
